Rival fan bloodies NBA mascot's nose in bar battle
4/27/2012Just before the Phoenix Suns were pummeled by the Utah Jazz 100-88 and eliminated from playoff contention Tuesday night, their mascot also took a beating. The Suns Gorilla, or "Go," one of the first inductees into the Mascot Hall of Fame in 2005, earned himself a bloody nose at a Dave & Buster's in Tempe after supposedly just "play-kicking" a Miami Heat fan who refused to high-five him. Police threatened to arrest both the man and the Gorilla for assault until both agreed not to press charges. Bet that ape is looking forward to his summer break.
