Cops say intoxicated man stole ambulance because he was cold

Medical crews were treating an elderly woman in Longmont, Colo., when they heard a beeping sound coming from their ambulance, indicating that it was in reverse (and in the process of being stolen). Police were able to stop the joyriding vehicle a little later and arrested an allegedly intoxicated Robert Elmar Taylor, 51, who already had an outstanding felony warrant for escaping from the Colorado Department of Corrections.
