More than once, we've considered getting hammered before going to the dentist, but it's terrifying to think that the dentist was doing the same thing. Dr. Robert Garelick was busted after his hygienist suspected that he was chugging vodka between patients, including one who was given a novocaine injection on the wrong side of his face. "I smelled vodka in [Garelick's water bottle]," assistant Kimberly Curtis said. "I had to do something. I was concerned for [his next] patient." A grinning Garelick was led away by police officers and charged with reckless endangerment. None of his patients were injured Monday, and hopefully their next dentist won't do Listerine shots between appointments. [Source]
