The NFL fined Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III $10,000 for wriggling into an Adidas T-shirt and sweatshirt at a postgame news conference after his team played the Baltimore Ravens. Although Griffin has an endorsement deal with Adidas, the NFL itself is sponsored by Nike and felt justified in issuing the fine for "unauthorized apparel" (which sounds like a macho way of saying "We're the fashion police").
