The man that prosecutors called the government's most wanted deadbeat parent has pled guilty to owing more than $1.2 million in child support. New Yorker Robert Sand, 50, owes the large sum to three children from two failed marriages. His child support payments have been in arrears since at least 2002. Sand said he's been on the lam in Florida and Thailand. His attorney Glenn Obedin said the absent father was tired of life on the run and contacted authorities last year. "He wanted to come back and have the opportunity to make it right," said Obedin. [Source]
