Vacationing mom jailed on 22-year-old shoplifting charge
1/22/2013A Connecticut mother of two thought she'd put her shoplifting past behind her, but it caught up with her big time when a 22-year-old arrest warrant turned up while she was on vacation. Robin Hall was on a Disney Dream cruise ship with her family when authorities checked the ship's passenger list for terrorists and unearthed the ancient warrant. Turns out Hall got booked for stealing cigarettes from Wal-Mart when she was 18, then dodged the $85 in court costs. Cops arrested her as she disembarked, and Hall, who put herself through college and now designs jet engines, has been stuck in jail since Thursday, awaiting transfer to another county where she can post bail.
