Four-armed robot conquers the drums, looking for groupies

OK, this robot percussionist is never going to be the next John Bonham or Keith Moon, even with four arms, and his rendition of the Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop" is, well, mechanical. But then, so is the tune. This is StickBoy, built in 2007 by Frank Barnes, and he knows eight drum tracks, which means he's still working his way up to "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" and "Wipeout." He sports a cool mohawk, too, though fan reception seems to be lukewarm. "Needs more cowbell," said one commenter. Everybody's a critic.
