'Rollerman' takes twisty-turny mountain at top speed
7/23/2012
Ain't no mountain high enough to keep Jean-Yves Blondeau from putting on his 34-wheel roller suit and cruising down it, apparently. Blondeau, a French inventor and daredevil who calls himself "Rollerman," zoomed down China's Tianmen Mountain – complete with steep declines, 99 sharp twists and turns with dramatic drop-offs – Sunday, assuming a variety of positions along the way. Blondeau, who uses only his body and gravity for power, speed and control, completed the 6.5 mile run in less than 20 minutes, reaching speeds of more than 50 miles per hour. Yeah, that's how he rolls. [Source]
