Romney did not cheat during the debate, he just sweats a lot
10/5/2012Cheat sheet gate? Not so much. The Internet was briefly abuzz just now with a rumor that Mitt Romney cheated during Wednesday night’s presidential debate. Some observers believed Romney brought a cheat sheet to the stage (candidates are not allowed to use prepared notes), pointing to the above video of the beginning of the debate which appears to show Romney taking an item out of his pocket and unfolding it on his lectern. Alas, the Romney campaign said it was simply a handkerchief, something separate video appeared to confirm.
