Iowan brings home a 300-pound Romney sign
1/13/2013What's heavy, metal and a sad reminder of former glory? No, not Metallica. It's the 300-pound Mitt Romney campaign sign that one Iowa man has just made his very own. The rather large piece of memorabilia now belongs to 27-year old Don McDowell, who grabbed the giant plate when the Romney campaign vacated their Iowa offices. McDowell has been collecting political memorabilia since he was a child, but the 5-by-8-foot metal monstrosity is easily the largest item in his collection. McDowell even got the sign for free, though he did spend about $100 renting a truck and paying friends to help him carry away the prize. [Source]
