Columnist finds the worst way to describe a possible sexual assault
1/20/2013A terrifyingly clueless Toronto Star columnist named Rosie DiManno may have written the most heinous opening to a news story about sexual assault, well, ever. Dr. George Doodnaught is an anesthesiologist charged with assaulting 20 women while they were unconscious in a North York General hospital operating room, plus a woman at a different clinic. DiManno led her graphic account of the case with this gem: "She lost a womb but gained a penis. The former was being removed surgically — full hysterectomy — while the latter was forcibly shoved into her slack mouth …" Um, if you’re like us, you're secretly hoping DiManno loses her entire readership, if not her job, and gains, well ... nothing. Never mind. [Source]
