If you thought $100,000 was too much to pay for a toilet, get a load of this $175,000 masterpiece of sleep engineering — aka the Royal Bed — due to be unveiled Thursday at London's Kensington Palace. But British bedmaker Savoir Beds says each of the 60 limited-edition mattresses is made out of miles of "long, blond Latin American horse tail" and heaps of the "finest, softest Mongolian cashmere wool," and takes a master craftsman 700 hours to make.
