Russia sticks it to Albania with record coffee-bean pic
6/27/2012Beans, beans, they're good for your art. Russia is buzzing today after a group of its artists won a coveted spot with Guinness World Records for the world's largest picture made from coffee beans (those Guinness categories never cease to surprise us). The enormous 323-square-foot image, created using about 1 million coffee beans, depicts a woman with an incredibly steamy mug of fresh-brewed goodness. The picture, on display in Moscow's Gorky Park, scalds previous record-holder Albania, which boasted a weaker 269-square-foot entry that now serves as a sad reminder that Russia has won. Again.
What's the most bizarre world record you've heard of?
