Ryan Higa loses out to 'more popular Asian' in Super Bowl ad spoof
1/28/2013If the commercials really are the best part of most Super Bowls, then pretty soon lampoons of the ads will be the best part of Super Bowl commercials. Actually, maybe that point has been reached. Comic Ryan Higa scores big with this hilarious tale of how he landed a spot plugging Wonderful Pistachios, only to discover that has glory has been usurped by someone who has just a little bit more YouTube cred than he does. Frankly, this is bound to be far better than whatever Wonderfulness the nut folks have in store on game day, but at four-minutes-plus it would also cost about $36 million to air. And that's a lot of pistachios.
