Veteran newsman Sam Donaldson pinched for DUI in Delaware

Sam Donaldson had himself a prime time on Dec. 1 and allegedly got pretty sloshed. Whatevs, right? Ah, but the veteran newsman decided it would also be a nice time for a scenic drive along the Delaware coast. Not so smart, and the longtime ABC News reporter was busted for drunken driving in the southern town of Lewes after police there pulled him over for driving on the shoulder of the road. The 78-year-old failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI. He will be arraigned on Friday. But if it counts for anything, he was reportedly "very cooperative." [Source]
