Judge throws out ex-manager's lame lawsuit against Britney Spears

11/2/2012

Score one for Britney Spears. A judge in Los Angeles has thrown out Sam Lutfi's case against the pop star and her family, saying he failed to provide evidence to show they had done anything wrong. Spears' former manager sued the family for breach of contract and libel, but this decision means the case won’t even go before a jury. Lutfi was seeking payment on an agreement he claimed promised him 15 percent of Spears' earnings while he was her manager. He had also claimed her father, Jamie, assaulted him and that her mother, Lynn, libeled him in her book, "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World." Lutfi says he plans to waste more people's time and appeal the judge's decision. [Source]
