Minnesota and Washington also hop on marriage equality bandwagon
11/7/2012Here's hoping marriage equality advocates have stocked up on champagne. They'll need it to celebrate both their Election Day victories and all the same-sex weddings coming up in Washington, which is expected to join Maine and Maryland in voting to allow gay and lesbian couples to get married. Minnesota voters were also projected to say yes to same-sex marriage, shooting down an amendment that would have banned it in their state's constitution. The vote for marriage equality was extremely tight in all four states, guaranteeing it will remain a hot issue. [Source]
