These parents could be thanking God their child is alive. Instead they filed a $100 million lawsuit. So gross. http://t.co/58df0YTE

People outraged after legal claim filed for $100M for Newtown survivor

12/29/2012

Less than three weeks after the Sandy Hook shooting, the first legal action over the massacre occurred and is sparking outrage online. A $100 million legal claim was filed on behalf of a surviving 6-year-old, "Jill Doe." The claim contends the state Board of Education and others failed to protect children from "foreseeable harm." The lawyer who filed it points to "cursing, screaming, and shooting" the child heard over the intercom, which resulted in "emotional and psychological trauma and injury." The response to the claim, which must get clearance from the Connecticut claims commissioner before a lawsuit against the state can be filed, has been vicious. "I know 20 parents that would love to have their child alive and traumatized," posted one Yahoo commenter, coffeemate. [Source]
