Authorities release names, ages of Newtown shooting victims

12/15/2012

The heartbreak of Sandy Hook has cut even deeper Saturday, as officials in Connecticut have released the names of the victims of alleged shooter Adam Lanza. As was reported in the hours after the shooting, 20 of them were children aged 7 or younger, 12 girls and eight boys, all of whom had multiple wounds, according to the medical examiner. The seven adults killed included six at the Newtown, Conn., elementary school —teachers, the psychologist and the beloved school principal — as well as Lanza’s mother, Nancy, who had ties to Sandy Hook Elementary and was killed at the family’s home.[Source]
