Climate change denier scrubs Sandy's Wikipedia page

An unemployed climate change denier kept any mention of global warming off the Wikipedia page for Hurricane Sandy. Ken Mampel made twice as many edits to the page than any other Wikipedia contributor, and drew ire for his diligent scrubbing of climate change issues from the entry, which was read by half a million people during the storm. "I don't believe that climate change bullcrap," Mampel told a reporter investigating the whitewash, though he admitted he had no meteorological training whatsoever.
