Santorum says, 'Friends don't let friends use pink balls'

Rick Santorum is "quite the bowler", according to his spokesman. He took Bowling 101 at Penn State and has his own bowling ball - but we're guessing it isn't pink. During a bowling outing in Wisconsin, Santorum told a college student sharing his lane that he couldn't use a pink ball. "We're not gonna let you do that," he said, according to Reuters reporter Sam Youngman. "Not on camera. Friends don't let friends use pink balls." Apparently a pastel-hued ball wasn't manly enough for the candidate who is so hardcore his sweaters don't even have sleeves. "[Santorum is] advancing tired gender norms by implying a boy should be ashamed to use a certain color bowling ball," scolded the Human Rights Campaign.
