Thousands raised for homeless guy who returned engagement ring
2/19/2013A homeless guy in Kansas City recently surprised the hell out of everybody by returning a valuable engagement ring accidentally given to him by a kindly woman as she dropped some coins in his cup. Although Sarah Darling gave him all the cash she had when Billy Ray Harris gave the ring back, she felt she needed to do more. So she and her husband set up a fundraising account (GiveForward.com/BillyRay), hoping to raise $1,000 in 90 days. However, just a few days in, donations have far exceeded the goal.
