Saudi Arabia has now seen its first-ever public service announcement against domestic abuse — and it’s a powerful one. The poster for King Khalid Foundation's No More Abuse campaign features a woman whose painful-looking black eye peeks out from beneath her burqa. The slogan: "Some things can't be covered: Fighting women's abuse together." As it stands, all women in the Middle Eastern country are still under the guardianship of a man (usually a husband, father or brother), and domestic abuse there is generally not reported. Hopefully, though, that could begin to change if enough people see the new ad. [Source]
