New 'Today' host Guthrie reportedly too tall for Matt Lauer

It must be tough for new "Today" host Savannah Guthrie, being the new kid and all. As if adjusting to a new work environment wasn't hard enough, rumors are swirling that the 5-foot-10-inch host has been asked to wear lower heels and lower her anchor chair to keep from towering over the petite and adorable 5-foot-11-inch Matt Lauer. Guthrie previously said she does reports from the news desk barefoot because she had been told she was too tall for the set, and once those heels are on, she easily clears six feet. But the host calls the rumor that network execs have an issue with her mighty stature "as tall as my heels." [Source]
