School calls cops on student 'obsessed' with studying
6/22/2012In high school, we were once asked to leave a library, but this was due to a lack of civility common among teenage boys. We admit, however, we never would have gotten kicked out for the offense that got Jamie Gagliardi booted from his high school's library. The 18-year-old from Crawley, England, was removed by police because he was reportedly "obsessed" with studying and refused to leave the library. Ifield Community College had barred Gagliardi, an A student, from the library for a day after a dispute over extra study sessions the teen wanted before an exam. When Gagliardi entered the library last Thursday, the cops were called, because the school thought he was a "nuisance" and "disruptive."
