School gives bus monitor bullies yearlong suspension
6/29/2012Being viciously harassed on a school bus might have paradoxically been the best thing ever for bus monitor Karen Klein, who has earned international fame (and over $660,000) after a YouTube video of the attack went viral. Now, justice has been meted out to the four students who tormented her: They've been walloped with a yearlong suspension from both school and "regular bus transportation," which means they'll have to continue their schooling at a "special center." They've also been sentenced to 50 hours of community service and will need to complete a course in bullying prevention.
