Scientists may have discovered a new species of human

They may need an update today after scientists announced there's evidence another species of human being existed two million years ago. The fossils found in Kenya confirm the existence of Homo rudolfensi, a species theorized in 1972, after a skull was discovered, but never before confirmed. The newly unearthed jaw and face bones corroborate the long-standing theory, suggesting several species of human co-existed at once and throwing a wrench into the idea that we evolved in a linear fashion, as shown in the popular posters [Source]
