Scientists say 'prostibots' could replace hookers by 2050

Is the world's oldest profession about to get computerized? Scientists at New Zealand's Victoria University think so, and they argue that by 2050, Amsterdam's notorious Red Light District will be teeming with "prostibots," robotic version of the prostitutes that currently work there. Dennis Hof, owner of Nevada's famous Moonlite Bunny Ranch, throws cold water on the idea, saying that a paid sexcapade is about "not just the sex, it's an adventure." Fair enough, but the prostibots would remove one element of danger that no one would miss: There'd be no chance of catching an STD.
