ScotlandsDNA is asking Scots to fork out $40 to test their DNA for red hair genes, finally proving that it's the world's most redheaded nation (per capita, anyway). Researchers plan to count their red hair gene-carrying citizens and create a map showing exactly where you can find them. About 650,000 Scots have red hair — 13 percent of its population — and even more carry the recessive gene for it.
