Court rules anti-whaling activists arrrrr officially 'pirates' (sorry)

A federal court has classified the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society as modern-day pirates, ordering them to leave Japanese whaling ships alone. An international treaty allows governments to kill whales for "research," but Sea Shepherd ships, sailing from Australia, often interfere with ships from Japan's Institute of Cetacean Research.
