Seal pup escapes rough seas, heads for car dashboard

Guess choppy seas are no fun for seal pups, either. Sick and tired of the stormy outdoors, this fuzzy guy, aka Smartie, sought refuge in a Scottish seaside parking lot, fighting his way up a man-made bank to the busy lot during a particularly bad weather spell. After spotting the rogue critter, a seal-friendly parking attendant wrangled him into the trunk of his car for safekeeping until animal rescuers could arrive. But Smartie outsmarted him, pushing down a rear seat to wriggle onto the warm, cozy dashboard where he had a front-row seat for storm viewing. Now resting up at a rescue center, Smartie will be returned to the ocean soon. [Source]
