Second grader pencils perfectly blunt response to sweet note from Mom
11/16/2012One person’s "sweet note" is another person's stop telling me what to do. That's what one Redditor found out when she sent her second grade son an upbeat message in his lunchbox: "Dear Julian, Have a GREAT day! Love, Mom." Julian was apparently having none of his mother's chipper directive, however. He wrote back (with admirable penmanship): "I will not." Oh, Julian, you speak for everyone who has ever been told to have a nice day when in the midst of a crappy one. Fight the fight against meaningless cheeriness (however well intended), Julian. Fight the fight. [Source]
