Second-tier celebs cash in on fan phone calls
3/21/2012In these tough economic times, second-tier celebrities are making as much as $18 a minute--yes, minute--just by sitting around and chatting on the phone. Dial-a-star.com allows the saddest of us to call prestigious figures, such as Michael Lohan (a deal at $10 per minute), Octomom ($12) and Danielle Staub (a whopping $18 per minute). According to TMZ, Staub has brought in about $6,000 since the site's launch last week -- a sign that there's interest in this service ... and that humanity might be beyond all hope.
