Secret Service scandal linked to lack of women in agency
4/22/2012As the entire country shakes their heads with shame (or holds their sides with laughter) over the Secret Service going a-whoring in Colombia, Sen. Susan Collins and Rep. Carolyn Maloney suggested that more women on the force could have prevented the scandal from even happening in the first place. "I can't help but wonder if there'd been more women as part of the detail if this ever would've happened." Really?! Do women co-workers slut-shame their male counterparts into better behavior? Currently, only 11 percent of the US Secret Service is female according to Maloney. We'd love to hear Maloney and Collins thoughts on Moammar Gadhafi's now-defunct Amazonian guard.
Do men behave differently at work when women are present?
