Brace yourself for the cuteness of these baby marsupial BFFs

8/2/2012

Should you call the Poison Control Center if you think you've overdosed on Cuteness? Because that's pretty much what happened after we clicked through this photo gallery of Anzac and Peggy, a pair of orphaned marsupials who have become pouch-mates at Australia's Wild About Wildlife Kilmore Rescue Center. Anzac, a 5-month-old kangaroo joey (who borrowed his named from the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) was paired with Peggy the wombat, and the adorable orphans (adorphans?) have been "comforted by each other's movement and heartbeats." That sound you just heard? That was us, squealing about their little paws and OMG! CAN WE PLEASE PUT OUR FACES NEAR THEIR FACES?! [Source]
