See the Sydney Opera House crumble in artsy illusion5/29/2012
As if the magnificent architecture of the Sydney Opera House wasn't enough to wow audiences, German design collective Urbanscreen has used the iconic building to stage this incredible light projection installation. It's part of the city's annual Vivid Sydney festival that runs until June 11. The sheer breadth of the technological know-how needed to create this artwork is awe-inspiring and it brings the interior life of the arts center, including dance, music and drama, to the building's exterior. The rippling sails are captivating -- and stay tuned to the end to witness the building crumbling into nothingness. Breathtaking.
