Seeing-eye dog calls the cops during home invasion

A blind woman who was attacked by a home intruder survived the harrowing ordeal thanks to the heroic actions of her guide dog. Police say the 54-year-old woman was choked and thrown down a flight of stairs by the intruder, who came in through an open door. The dog managed to call police with a special device that alerts authorities in case of emergency. The woman is currently in stable condition, but her attacker was able to flee the scene.
