Sex toys used to help singers hit those high notes

Attention, aspiring singers: That extra octave you crave might be within reach, depending on what you may or may not have lying around the home. David Ley, a voice coach at the University of Alberta, has been using a sex toy to massage the throats of actors and singers. The drama department professor says using the vibrator on performer's throats, "relaxes tension in the larynx … it improves range and projection." Ley says he tried several massage machines unsuccessfully before finding the perfect tool at a sex shop.
