Shania Twain's understated 40-horse entrance shuts down Vegas Strip

11/15/2012

Shania Twain will spend the next three years headlining her own show at Caesars Palace, so she had to spend yesterday afternoon doing something equally over the top. Twain literally stopped traffic, riding down the Las Vegas Strip on horseback, with a team of 40 horses trailing behind her. When she got to Caesars, she climbed down while her hit "Still the One" played in the background (although "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under" is probably more Vegas-appropriate). "I could have gone riding around town all day," Twain joked. OK, so you're one of the best-selling female artists of all time AND you just shut down the Vegas Strip? That don't impress us much.
