'90210' star Shannen Doherty called 911 to save suicidal fan
12/9/2012Shannen saves the day! The '90s icon of "Beverly Hills, 90210" fame was once trashed for being bitchy and spoiled. But the star might have redeemed herself now that a 911 call she made last month has been released. After a New Jersey-based fan threatened, via Twitter, to kill herself, Doherty called police in the 27-year-old's town. The 911 operator seems a bit star-struck as Doherty explains several disturbing tweets and says, "I have no idea [about] the correct response. ... She has stated she has a gun and she is going to shoot herself." Police located the woman and found that, thankfully, she wasn't actually going to kill herself. [Source]
