49ers fan scammed out of $5,900 will see the game from better seats
1/30/2013The court of the Internet has ruled 49ers fan Sharon Osgood a bit dim after she wired $5,900 to a random person on Craigslist for Super Bowl tickets. (In return, she received only a note reading "Go Ravens!!! LOL.") But it looks like Osgood's luck is turning. Ticketmaster and the 49ers have come through with five free tickets for the shocked woman — not to mention treating her to breakfast with former Dallas QB Troy Aikman. Facebook commenter Cliff Geneson spoke for a lot of eye-rolling sports fans when he wrote, "What next? A reward for buying a bridge?" [Source]
