2/4/2013A TV interview on Islamic al-Majd TV from last year has been picked up on social media and is going viral today as it's shared by outraged Saudis and Muslims worldwide. Saudi cleric Sheikh Abdullah Daoud, citing reports of little girls being molested, suggested that baby girls wear the full face-covering burka to protect themselves from abuse. A former judge of the Saudi Board of Grievances, Sheikh Mohammad al-Jzlana, has condemned this unregulated fatwa as denigrating to Islam, and Twitter folks are calling for Daoud to be "held accountable" (this guy should be fired from telling people what to do, period) for a statement that essentially blames babies for being molested.
