Sheriff tells hikers to ignore naked runners on nature trails

Being one with nature inspires certain folks to go au naturel. The Garfield Country Sheriff's Office in Colorado is warning residents about recent sightings of nude men -- some of them out for a run -- on local paths. "With the beautiful weather we have had the last few weeks, it's no surprise our bike paths and trails have seen an increase of activity," the sheriff noted in a press release about the indecent-exposure uptick. However, at a community meeting Tuesday night, the sheriff also urged residents not to stop hiking: "Be a little more prepared, be a little more aware, take some precautions, but you need to do what you enjoy in life."
