Chinese husband and wife have same birthday — and they just turned 100
12/31/2012Ready to end 2012 with possibly the cutest story of the year? A married couple in China who were both born on the same day have celebrated their 100th birthdays together, along with five generations of their family. Shi Sifan and Liu Megu were both born on Dec. 28, 1912, and have lived through two world wars, several moon landings and a Kardashian/West procreation. Just before the centennial celebrations, Liu was in hospital with a kidney stone attack, but she was able to join her husband and extended family for their birthday party. What did the couple receive as a gift to celebrate reaching such a ripe old age? A flat-screen television, of course. [Source]
