Sometimes the temptation to snap a picture of a person or an animal in a precarious situation overrides our ability to be decent human beings and go to their aid, as yesterday's trending pictures of Campbell the cat indicate. It's just the way we're wired; we need to document the so-called "humor" before we can step in and do the right thing.
