More tragedy in Aurora: three hostages die before police shoot gunman

Still healing from the July shooting in a Century movie theater that took 12 lives and injured 58 others, the Denver suburb of Aurora has been rocked again after four died Saturday morning in a hostage situation at a townhouse. Police confirmed that after brief failed phone negotiations, a SWAT team shot an unidentified gunman to end a six-hour standoff — but not before he killed three of his hostages.
