Man sues shooting range for reverse sexism

8/26/2012

Police officer Derrick Hunter paid $15 to visit a shooting range in Upper Marlboro, Md., where he saw two women get in for free because it was “Ladies’ Day,” a promotion meant to attract female customers. He describes the subsequent emotional trauma thusly: “Any time you get any kind of discrimination it does hit home to a certain extent. I have children. If (I) don't stand for something you'll fall for anything. Sooner or later you have to stand up for your rights.” Hunter has lawyered up and has filed a $200,000 lawsuit against the range for “reverse sexism.” [Source]
