Pranksters call police to Simon Cowell’s home because why not
11/27/2012We're not used to seeing Simon Cowell in the role of victim, but the reality-TV meanie is the latest celeb to be preyed upon in a string of "swatting" incidents, in which pranksters call police to report crimes supposedly taking place at stars' homes just to watch the cops move in. (Ha, ha, ha, ha … ahem.) Beverly Hills police rushed to Cowell's L.A. home Sunday after receiving an amateurish-sounding call reporting that someone there "had been tied up with duct tape and needed assistance." When officers arrived, they found Cowell undisturbed. He was probably enjoying a pleasant evening thinking up new ways to torment Demi Lovato on "The X Factor." [Source]
