Sit less and live longer, new study says
7/10/2012Are you sitting down? Well, stand up -- it'll add precious years to your life. In the latest we're-sitting-our-way-to-the-grave news, a new study published in the British Medical Journal says all our loafing around is chipping years off the lives of Americans. If we sat for three or fewer hours per day, we'd increase our life expectancy by two years. Furthermore, if we watched fewer than two hours of TV each day, we could expect to live another 1.4 years. Just think about all the great TV we could catch up with in that time!
How much time do you spend sitting every day?
