Slayer wine pairs perfectly with a headbanging party
4/16/2012Move over Ernest and Julio Gallo -- and Ratt and Motorhead, too, for that matter. To continue the totally nonsensical trend of rock bands slapping a label on a bottle of wine and calling it theirs, thrash metal icons Slayer have issued "Reign in Blood," a Cabernet Sauvignon with a delicate nose that, we presume, engagingly complements three-day-old pizza and convenience store burritos. Although we imagined Slayer fans' tastes ran more to Jagermeister -- or bat urine -- we look forward to asking our sommelier to let us sample "Show No Mercy" Shiraz, "Seasons in the Abyss" Semillon and, of course, "God Hates Us All" Gewurztraminer. Cheers!
What occasion would call for a bottle of Slayer wine?
